Karim Rouighi, one of our new photographers, was born in the middle of the Sahara Desert in Algeria. He moved to Chamonix, France when he was six and he has been there ever since. This year he is testing the waters (snow) in Wanaka NZ with his Kiwi girlfriend. He has been a chef and more recently a lift mechanic to stay close to the snow. His photos inspired us and we know they will inspire you too!

A. I was 16 when i got my first camera, but I’m sure like millions my age, as technology developed and became closer to hand and easier to use, (+ Instagram existed) I became quite the hobbyist!
A. I have a picture of me doing a huge 180 on the big air at the long since retires DC Park in Les Houches Chamonix. These were the best years of my life and this was my proudest moment snapped by professional photogher @damien_deschamps.
